To be completely honest my friend gave me this idea. There has been many fathers and son to both be in the NFL, there will also be plenty to come with Deion Sanders’ son playing college football right now.

  1. Antoine Winfield Sr./Jr.

The Winfield’s are newcomers in the father son tandems. Both of them playing in the secondary, Sr. played for the Minnesota Vikings and Jr. plays for the recent Superbowl champs Tamp Bay Buccanears. Jr. looks to become a star and be better than his dad.

2. The Mathews

This whole family produces more NFL players than your highschool will ever do. It all started with Clay Mathews Sr., he had two children that went on to become NFL players then those two produced two children each that would then go on the NFL. At this rate there will be the entire NFL having the last name Matthews.

3. Howie and Kyle Long

With these two playing the opposite position in Howie playing defensive end, and Kyle playing offensive line you wouldn’t think of these two being father and son. Kyle, a recently retired player just came out of retirement to come and play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

There are many duos in the NFL these are just some of the more famous ones.
