Schedule Prediction for K-State Football in 2021–22 season.
In a year that will prove to be a snap-back to reality as Marshall Mathers would say. Lots except the Big-12 as a whole to take a step down from mediocrity. The medium college of the medium conference is what K-State Football is made for.
Here is the schedule for the 2021–22 season.
Sept. 4 Stanford (in Arlington)
Sept. 11 Southern Illinois
Sept. 18 Nevada
Sept. 25 at Oklahoma State
Oct. 2 Oklahoma
Oct. 9 OPEN DATE
Oct. 16 Iowa State
Oct. 23 at Texas Tech
Oct. 30 TCU
Nov. 6 at Kansas
Nov. 13 West Virginia
Nov. 20 Baylor
Nov. 27 at Texas
Ceiling: 9–3, start off o a bang with Skylar Thompson coming back winning all three non-conference games; eeking two wins between Oklahoma St. and Iowa St. weeks. then going on a streak winning the next three in a row, cooling off vs. WVU winning again vs. Baylor, and losing to Texas to end the year. This would put them in the conversation for the Big-12 title game and possibly winning it.
Floor: 3–9, not just a floor but the bunker underneath it, Skylar Thompson doesn’t look the same, Stanford and Nevada are just too much and start the year 1–2. Not a good schedule to see after already being disappointed, starting the conference play 0–3, there will at least be some wins in Texas Tech and Kansas though.
My Prediction: 8–4, starting off strong going 4–0 getting ranked in the top 25 then getting a little too cocky and losing the next two. Going through the easy part of the year winning the next three and ending the year losing to WVU and Texas. Making the conversation for the Big-12 title game but not getting in.
